This small apartment originally featured a large, boxy room that, while filled with light, lacked character and a sense of scale.  To enhance the space, we created options for connecting the living area to the adjacent den.

This involved removing an existing wall and adding a large sliding door. The client, a manufacturer of placemats and rugs, contributed a long runner that connected the living and dining areas.   Fanciful design features – light fixtures, materials, mirrors, and a careful choice of modern furniture - gave this apartment a stylish and functional facelift.
